Celebrates International Women's History Day with
The Queen of Buganda, Uganda

The Potomac (VA) Chapter of The Links, Incorporated hosted an impactful International Women's Day event on March 8 2024, at Lakewood Country Club, featuring Her Royal Highness, Queen Sylvia Nagginda Luswata of Buganda, Uganda. She captivated attendees with a discussion about her autobiography, sharing her extraordinary life journey. Queen Sylvia's warm presence and personal autographs created a memorable experience, highlighting her commitment to connecting with others. The event also opened doors for future collaborations between the chapter and The Nnaabagereka Foundation, focusing on education and community development. Attendees left inspired by Queen Sylvia's dedication to empowering others and fostering positive change.
